Stoep Tasting 2027 – The Sibling

The same iconic Stoep Tasting experience, simply one weekend earlier and with different wines.

The Stoep Tasting Sibling Weekend was introduced after the Original Weekend became one of South Africa’s most sought-after wine events. As more wine lovers wanted to experience Stoep Tasting than the Karoo’s accommodation could comfortably host in a single weekend, we created a second festival weekend, allowing even more visitors to enjoy everything that makes Stoep Tasting so special.

The Sibling Weekend is every bit as authentic as the Original Weekend, featuring an entirely different selection of wine and spirit producers across the historic towns of Graaff-Reinet and Nieu-Bethesda. For returning visitors, it offers the exciting opportunity to discover new wineries, new stories and new wines, while first-time guests enjoy the same intimate Karoo experience that has become synonymous with Stoep Tasting. Visitors spend the weekend wandering from stoep to stoep, meeting the makers behind the labels, discovering exceptional wines and spirits and enjoying the relaxed pace that makes this festival so unique.

Alongside the main tasting experience, the weekend also offers a variety of optional food and wine events, including wine dinners, specialist tastings, art, music and other carefully curated experiences

Your ticket includes your tasting glass and entitles you to taste, discover and purchase wines across three days of tasting in both Graaff-Reinet and Nieu-Bethesda from Thursday, 20 May to Saturday, 22 May 2027 during oficial tasting times. Producer participation is by invitation only, ensuring a carefully curated line-up and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that has defined Stoep Tasting from the very beginning. Whether you choose the Sibling Weekend or the Original Weekend, you’ll enjoy the complete Stoep Tasting experience, each with its own unique selection of producers.
