The Great Kenton Wine Festival

The Great Kenton Wine Festival brings together everything that makes a long weekend unforgettable – beautiful beaches, outstanding South African wines and the laid-back atmosphere of Kenton-on-Sea. Set in the Barefoot Capital of the Sunshine Coast, it’s a celebration of great wine, delicious food and coastal living.

Across three tasting days, you’ll have the opportunity to taste, discover and purchase wines from over 40 wineries, bringing together some of South Africa’s most celebrated and exciting wine producers at the festival’s dedicated tasting venues. Alongside the main tasting experience, the weekend also offers a variety of optional food and wine events, including wine dinners, long lunches, high teas and other carefully curated experiences that showcase the best of Kenton-on-Sea.

Your festival ticket includes your tasting glass and entitles you to taste, discover and purchase wines from all wine producers from Friday, 19 March to Sunday, 21 March 2027 during official tasting times at the Kenton Tennis Club, Deep Sea Club and Backyard Venue. Fringe events are booked separately, allowing you to create a weekend that’s perfectly suited to your own pace and tastes.
